Anakin&Padme ǁ Not Enough (SYTYCV)

“There’s nothing left to fear, I am always here.“ To me, this song just perfectly captures Anakin’s point of view of the love story between him and Padme. No matter how hard to tried to save her, nothing was ever enough. Judges Notes: I chose this couple because their story follows the pattern of love, fear, than regret. First, they fall in love, knowing that their love should not be allowed. Then Anakin begins to dream about Padme’s death and he fears losing her. This fear is so crippling that is leads him down the path to the dark side. His love for her is so strong that he will do whatever it takes. The regret comes later because it is not until after her death that he begins to regret or realize his actions were wrong. Not shown in this video is the actions his regret leads to, saving his children’s lives, but I wanted to limit this video to just him and Padme’s relationship while they were both alive.
