GAME RECAP: Penguins vs. Devils () | Penguins Complete Perfect Roadtrip

The Pittsburgh Penguins traveled to take on the New Jersey Devils to cap off their three-game road trip. Both teams were scoreless in the first period of play. A goal off the stick of Jack Hughes put the Devils up 1-0 midway through the second period but Mike Matheson answered back for the Penguins to tie things up. Bryan Rust and the Devils would trade goals early into the third to keep things even but a goal from Brian Boyle and an empty-netter from Jake Guentzel would ultimately be the deciding factor as the Penguins went on to win by a score of 4-2.
