GAME RECAP: Penguins vs. Capitals () | Rust Stays Hot

The Washington Capitals came into town for a divisional matchup right before All-Star break to cap off the Penguins six-game homestand. The first period of play was action packed. Evgeni Malkin and Bryan Rust tallied goals in for Penguins while the Capitals also got two of their own. Pittsburgh would go on to take the lead in the second with another goal coming off the stick of Bryan Rust to make it 3-2 but Washington would tie things up before the end of the period.
