GAME RECAP: Penguins vs. Stars () | Penguins Streak Snapped at Ten

The Penguins took on the Dallas Stars as they continued on with their six-game road trip. Brian Dumoulin and Kasperi Kapanen wasted no time as they gave Pittsburgh an early 2-0 lead in the first period. Jake Guentzel’s assist on Dumoulin’s goal put him at 17 consecutive games played with a point. Dallas was able to cut the lead to one in the second and eventually took a 3-2 lead late in the third after back-to-back goals. Pittsburgh would attempt to tie things up by pulling their goalie for the man advantage but could not find the back of the net as they fell to the Dallas Stars by a score of 3-2, snapping their 10-game win streak.
