Improve Photos with High Pass Effect in AliveColors
The High Pass effect in AliveColors allows you to increase image sharpness by revealing details on selected areas. The filter is often used in multi-stage processing.
We will use the effect on two layers with different values of the High Pass radius. Raise the tonal contrast by increasing the radius, convert the layer to black and white (or desaturate it), and slightly blur the picture. Switch to another copy of the layer and increase image sharpness using the lower radius. As a result, with two different values of the radius, we can adjust both the tonal contrast and the micro-contrast of the photo.
