A driver who was filmed cruising down a frozen Indianapolis canal was arrested for drunk driving after she plunged through the ice on Christmas night. Biankia Gleason, 33, had to be rescued from the frigid waters and told the responding firefighters that her GPS had directed her to drive onto the canal near Colts Playspace, Fox 59 reported. She said she motored down an embankment through the park and onto the ice, where she drove until she hit a dead end and turned around, according to the local station. Shocking video circulating online captures part of Gleason’s adventure as she drives under a bridge, past people ice skating on the frozen canal as they react with disbelief. Another video shows an aerial view of the car, nose down, in the free-moving water moments later.
