The Schnitger organ in Uithuizen | Netherlands Bach Society

Arp Schnitger was a famous organ builder in northern Germany in the late 17th and early 18th century. The Schnitger organ in Uithuizen (Groningen, The Netherlands) is one of its best preserved instruments to date. During the recording session for All of Bach we made this short documentary in which organists Albert Gramsbergen, Reitze Smits and Peter Kofler tell about the history and the unique characteristics of this instrument. Recorded for the project All of Bach on 17th July 2019 at Uithuizen.
