Early last year a fan of my edits & fellow AnY fan recommended this song for me to use in one of my amvs. I liked it and put it on my list of AnY songs to use, but I had other video ideas I wanted to get to first - so this has been a long time coming, but I finally made it lol. The more I dwelled on this song, the more I realized how perfectly it fits Yona & Su-won. I hadn’t given the two of them their own edit before, so this was the perfect opportunity. I knew it would end up being an angsty, sad edit focused around their tragic made me somewhat emotional just editing it! I particularly love how the song applies to Yona - “I needed to lose you to love me/to find me“ - in essence, she needed to move on from Su-won to grow more as a person. Her greatest growth came through her greatest tragedy.
