We’re thrilled to announce that Secrets of the Aquarium will air on BBC Two at from Tuesday the 14th of November! Filmed over an entire year, this brand-new six part TV series will take you behind the scenes and under the water at our Aquarium here in Plymouth! The series follows the lives of the 5000 extraordinary animals living in our Aquarium as well as the 100 invaluable individuals who care for them daily. Weighing stingrays, transporting turtles and introducing octopuses is all in a day’s work for our Aquarium team! This documentary series is brought to you by the talented Welsh production company, Hall of Mirrors. They are specialists in making factual entertainment and documentary series and have been behind the lens of some of the UK’s best loved shows. Their team spent a year filming at the Aquarium getting involved in everything that goes on here. As a result the TV show is as honest a portrayal as you will get of life working at an Aquarium.
