The head of the EU’s Special Training Command said Ukraine’s requests for the training of its forces abroad has changed 18 months into the war. Lieutenant-general Andreas Marlow said offensive tactics and the education of military leaders now top the list. According to Marlow, Ukraine initially needed training on defensive tactics and how to fight in urban areas. However, the current battlefield scenario appears to have rendered this less relevant.
