Camlann is a Dark Disco/Dark Pop duo from Jakarta, Indonesia. Formed in the early 2019, the band now consists of Ony Godfrey on vocals and Fauzan Pratama on Synthesizer. Camlann was once a darkwave trio and has released two albums that were heavily influenced by mostly trad-goth artists such as Xmal Deutschland, Clan of Xymox, and Siouxsie and the Banshees. However, after the departure of Bayu Triyudanto (former bassist of Camlann) from the band, Godfrey and Pratama decided to reinvent the band’s identity and reincarnated Camlann as a Dark Disco duo. Now, the duo infuses disco, funk, and electronic elements for a 70’s-inspired electronic sound that captures the character of the era, whilst re-imagining it with modern darkwave elements.
