COBRA (1986) starring Sylvester Stallone Commentary! Plus a tiki drink recipe walkthrough!

Welcome to another movie commentary with Arctic Ninja Paul! This time out, I’m rewatching Sylvester Stallone’s 1986 serial killer gang actioner Cobra! Based on the novel “Fair Game“ but rewritten by Stallone to be more Stallone-y (and with a bunch of ideas he had for Beverly Hills Cop when he was attached), the film was directed by George P. Cosmatos and stars Stallone, Brigitte Nielsen, Reni Santoni, Brian Thompson and Lee Garlington and ended up being both a critical and financial flop, but ended up gaining cult status rather quickly. Now, it’s time to revisit and see if my 10-year-old self and my 40-year-old-self are in agreement on how good/bad this film is. Love it or hate it, there’s no denying the swagger of one Marion Cobretti, even if he eats pizza super weird.
