Hed PE, formed in 1994 in Huntington Beach, California, is a distinctive American rock band known for their unique fusion of gangsta rap and punk rock, coined as “G-punk,“ alongside reggae-infused music. After three albums with Jive Records, the band went independent and later signed with Suburban Noize Records from 2006 to 2010. They gained attention for their involvement in the 9/11 Truth movement, which influenced their lyrics and the concept behind the album “New World Orphans.“ Since 2014, Hed PE has been with Pavement Music and has released a total of twelve studio albums, one live album, and three compilation albums, boasting over 700,000 global album sales.
