Les Voix Humaines by Marais

This piece, “Les Voix Humaines,“ (The Human Voices) stands out to me as one of the greatest Baroque pieces I’ve heard. It’s not complex or particularly innovative but something about it resonates with me inside and I can’t explain it. And Marais’ title makes me reflect on the nuance and beauty of the human voice which he seems to be alluding to with his musical phrases and gestures. Enjoy and thanks to Craig Trompeter for his gorgeous playing on the viola da gamba! If you missed the full Xmas recital, watch it here: Take part in my upcoming guitar masterclass on Zoom which is open to the public! ➢🎼GUITAR LESSONS: ➢SUPPORT ME: ➢SUBSCRIBE: ➢BUY CDs: ➢INSTAGRAM: ➢WEBSITE: ➢MY GEAR: -Canon 80D Camera: -O
