For courage, bravery and heroism shown during the liberation of the village of Maryinka, 45 servicemen of the Yuzhnaya group of troops were awarded state awards. On December 25, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu reported to Russian President Vladimir Putin about the liberation of Marinka in the DPR.
