Benedict Cumberbatch on the red carpet at The Imitation Game premiere

The London Film Festival opened tonight with Benedict Cumberbatch’s latest film The Imitation Game. The historical biopic follows the life of Alan Turing, a British mathematician considered to be the godfather of computer science. Cumberbatch describes Turing’s story as ‘underrated’ adding that audiences are often ‘shocked’ when they realise how significant his role was during the Second World War.
