Aryna Sabalenka WINS Australian Open Trophy 2023. New Australian Open champion Aryna Sabalenka reflected on a whirlwind experience after winning her maiden grand slam. The Belarusian came from a set down to beat Elena Rybakina 4-6 6-3 6-4 in the women’s singles final on Saturday. Sabalenka joked that the celebrations were ’too much’ for her team, some of whom failed to make it to her trophy call in Melbourne the following day.
