1981 August 1 MTV Hour One (Without Videos)

To celebrate the anniversary of MTV, and it’s former greatness, enjoy a high quality rebroadcast of it’s very first hour as it was seen at 12 midnight EST, on August 1, 1981. I certainly miss MY MTV! It is complete with commercials, BUT WITHOUT VIDEOS I tried to upload the entire first hour for everyone to enjoy, but I got hit with so many copyright claims it was depressing. This is the world we live in now. So this is my feeble attempt to at least share some of the nostalgia, back when we were free.
