The deep passion for music was the reason for Martin, after many previous stories and projects, to find a new format in which one could realize one’s own potential, and so MAVOR was born. Martin was active in a Grevenbroich band for several years and got to know Mark through concerts together. Mark performed there with his band Storm of Anger. They are at home in new grunge and can now look back on a band history going back well over twenty-five years. There was talk of wanting to record a song together, but that took a while to happen. Unexpected things often happen, due to some circumstances we ran into each other again and after a long time (end of 2023) we met and the song “Sehnsucht” was recorded. Then it happened quite quickly. The song was followed by an accompanying video, which received a great response. The decision was obvious to continue working together.
