Welcome to Part 1 of our exciting YouTube series, where I take on the legendary Jeff Seid’s intense full back workout! Join me as I push my limits, striving to achieve the impressive results that Jeff Seid is known for. as well as paying homage to one of the key figure of the aesthetic movement from the early 2010s.
In this episode, we dive into the first half of Jeff Seid’s back routine, focusing on developing strength, size, and a well-defined back. Brace yourself for an intense session filled with challenging exercises and a relentless pursuit of gains.
We kick off the workout with neutral grip pull-ups, a classic compound exercise that targets the entire back, particularly the upper and middle sections. With three sets to failure, I push my muscles to the limit, testing my endurance and aiming for that ultimate pump.
Next, we move on to front pulldowns, an exercise that hones in on the latissimus dorsi muscle, commonly known as the “lats.“ Following Jeff Seid’s recommended rep scheme, we perform four sets, gradually increasing the weight and aiming for 15 reps on the first set, 12 on the second, 10 on the third, and 8 on the final set. This progressive overload challenges the muscles and helps to stimulate growth.
Then, it’s time for bent over rows, a staple movement for a strong and well-developed back. By incorporating four sets with decreasing reps of 15, 12, 10, and 8, we continue to push our limits. But the challenge doesn’t stop there—after each set, we incorporate a dropset, pushing our muscles to their maximum potential and igniting a fiery burn.
