In an in-depth interview, Spanish director Pedro Almodóvar talks to academic and critic Maria Delgado about his new film Julieta (2016), a drama based on three Alice Munro short stories, and other highlights of his career. He reveals that Julieta was originally going to be made in English, possibly with Meryl Streep, how important colour is in his filmmaking and his views on religion.
