A displaced Palestinian girl wishes for a ‘truce’ so she can ‘spend Ramadan at home’

“If we were Home, we would use the sink. Here we need to go get water to wash dishes.” An eight-year-old displaced Palestinian girl was asked, what she wished for the most before Ramadan and she said: “A truce, so we can spend Ramadan at home.” At least 1.9 million Palestinians have been internally displaced since the beginning of the Gaza assault, according to UN estimates.
