Бой состоялся на турнире, посвященном 150-летию г. Махачкалы. Магомед “Железка“ Магомедов - молодой и популярный в Дагестане боец в качестве хозяина ринга встретился c прославленным оппонентом - Венером Галиевым, на тот момент лучшим легковесом России. Через десять лет немногие знают об этом поединке, что мы постарались исправить. Приятного просмотра! Two world champions in combat sambo and pankration met at the Martial Arts Festival devoted to the 150’th anniversary of Makhachkala, the capital of Dagestan. Local fighter Magomed (24 y.o., black trunks) was a talented young prospect brave enough to challenge much more older and experienced fighter in Vener Galiev (31 y.o., blue kneepads), who was deemed by many to be the best Russian lightweight fighter at that time. To his credit in his 41 he is still successfully fighting against top Russian martial artists in Fight Nights Global and other organizations.
