Do scavs specifically target unarmored limbs

No they do not. Read the rest of description! You can see a scav shooting at me with a shotgun and taking out my both arms. Why did it happen? Shotgun fires 12x70 cartridge, which shoots 8 pellets. They all don’t go into same spot, but rather have some dispersion. Think of it as a circle that has 8 random points in it. So, randomly, some of these pellets hit my chest, some left arm, some right arm, and some even hit my helmet. It so happened that arms became blacked - each of them was hit by 2 pellets, making 50 damage, while arms only have 35 HP. This is akin to “Survivor’s Fallacy“. You think scavs target unarmored parts and take them out. Rather, it’s your armor that protects the chest from getting hurt. As you can see in the end of the video, armor is damaged, as I had it repaired before the raid. This is armor condition 1 minute earlier: So what happens in reality is: 1) pellet dispersion 2) armor actually working
