Joaquin Phoenix As The Joker in Batman Origin Film Director Todd Phillips returns to direct new untitled Batman Origin film starring Joaquin Phoenix as the Joker. The film, yet to be titled, focuses around The Joker, also know as Arthur Fleck, the notorious Supervillain. Joaquin Phoenix wore a green jacket and shirt in the exclusive behind the scenes footage which showed the actor with a scruffy hairdo and a smirk on his face.
