Bodycam video shows police shooting a man that was armed with a BB gun. The shooting occured after the man pointed the BB gun at officers, which was indistinguishable from a real firearm. The San Diego Police received a 911 call from a man claiming his 60-year-old son was waving a gun around and threatening him with it. When police arrived, the suspect’s Father was outside the home and was brought to safety by officers. The suspect, Andrew Farnham, entered the garage and pointed his BB gun at the ceiling and then towards officers. After repeated attempts to get Farnham to put the gun down, an officer fired three shots, causing Farnham to fall to the ground. Police then approached Farnham, asking him to slide the gun away from him so they could safely render medical aid. After failed attempts, officers deployed a K9 to separate Farnham from the firearm. After recovering the firearm, officers identified it as a BB gun. Farnham was taken to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his wounds. WATCH Mo
