Dark Souls - Ornstein and Smough - Easy Kill How to beat Ornstein and Smough Smough is weak to lightning and resists fire. Ornstein is weak to fire and resists lightning. I find Super Ornstein a lot easier to deal with - he also drops the Leo Ring, which is very nice with halberd thrusts.
