Tchaikovsky: Variations on a Rococo Theme - Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra - Live Concert HD

Inspired by Mozart, Tchaikovsky wrote this gracious piece for cello and orchestra. There are eight variations on the original theme. Cellist Pablo Ferrández is soloist next to the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra. Ferrández is known for his emotional play and his love for interacting with the audience: he always tries to look people in the eye while performing. Conductor Elim Chan is conquering the world with her work - in 2014 she won the prestigious Donatella Flick LSO Conducting Competition. The concert
