Watercolor Night Sky Painting Demonstration Mount Rainier

My inspiration came from a photograph of Mount Rainier in Washington State. I wanted to paint a night scenery with a Milky Way over the Mountain. It took me a little bit of time to create the even tone background but once it dried I was able to start playing with white gouache. White gouache is just like watercolor, it also dilutes with water but instead of being transparent is opaque. I personally do not like watercolor white, it doesn’t give the same effect that’s why I use white gouache :) The star
