Paracord Snake Knot Knife Lanyard - Simple Easy to Tie Knife Lanyard Tutorial 🛠

This comment was by Aaron Jones and may help others: “I’ve done this lanyard knot on dozens of knives thanks to this great tutorial. Every time I’ve used a large spool of 7 strand 550 paracord, melting the ends with a lighter to prevent fraying. Today I was doing this lanyard knot on a knife using a new to me paracord. Its called Tough-Grid 550 paracord which has 7 inner triple strands (they seem thicker than the other cordage I use) as well as an 8th “tracer strand“ which is thinner. The first knot went fine but it took several attempts to get the second knot to seat against the first. I could not get a third knot. After numerous attempts the only thing I could think of that would make a difference was the thicker inner strands. I cut the melted tips of the paracord off and made the remaining knots with no problem. With the ends melted the thicker inner strands must have been binding up, preventing the knots from seating. With the open ends it let the inner stands twist freely
