LARGER than LIFE Pomegranate!!! Painting a Still Life in Oils / Chiaroscuro

Today I’m in the studio painting the subtle, yet striking beauty of the humble pomegranate! This demonstration is all about the use of light and shade ( chiaroscuro) placing particular emphasis on tonal values.
