A Cold, Misty & Mysterious Early Morning Walk Through a Cotswold Village & Countryside

So, today we are out and about walking in the village of Guiting Power which is located within the heart of the Cotswolds in the county of Gloucestershire in the UK. The village sits halfway between Stow-on-the-Wold & Cheltenham. According to the 2011 census the village then had a population of 296. For a village that is relatively small it has many local amenities which include a village hall, a children’s nursery (built in 1872 and first used as a school before closing), a shop, a Post Office, a bakery and also two public houses (the Farmer’s Arms and the Hollow Bottom). The local church is St Michael and all Angels which is situated on the south end of the village and is of a Norman origin dating back as far as the 12th century. Guiting Power hosts its own music festival each year in the month of July comprising of classical, jazz and folk music. I would definitely like to make a return visit to this village again some time this year to explore further. There are no hidden OAAW logos within this video. Thanks for walking with me. #cotswolds #walkingtour #englishcountryside
