4 bight turk’s head setup for bracelets

In this tutorial I demonstrate how to tie the base knot for many of the turk’s head bracelets. We are going to tie a long, 4 bight turk’s head for the base. I used a mandrel about 5 or 6 mm in diameter which would be about 1/4 of an inch. For the cord I used type I paracord. As far as the length of the cord, it was about 10.5 to 11 feet long.
