Side A actually comes from the 2010 CD, where it was released in very high quality. Though, judging by the sound, said track is still vinyl record, albeit pretty much masterfully restored. I’ve found only a couple more clicks I’ve edited out and pretty much left it as is, save for some minor volume adjustments.
Side B comes from 1970’s vinyl - albeit it was played by a much higher grade machine than my humble AT-727. I’ve spent about18 hours cleaning up every click and imperfection I’ve heard. Hands down, this was the best and the hardest job I’ve done so far.
I’m pretty sure I’ve done several mistakes, since this was the first time I’ve done that kind of work, but I hope you will pardon me. In my unexperienced eyes, the sound I’ve managed to get is short from outstanding. Definitely on par with A-side version released in 2010.
