Trapped in Hell: Toretsk’s Struggle Under Relentless Russian Shelling

The reality of Toretsk, a once-thriving mining town in Donetsk Region’s frontline, now reduced to rubble by Russian military shelling. Now, the shelling of towns in the Bakhmut region has intensified. They hit residential infrastructure, despite the presence of civilians in the city. Points of Invincibility were equipped in the city to help those who didn’t evacuate. Since the beginning of the full-scale war 90 people have been killed in Toretsk. But despite the constant Russian shelling about 15,000 people still live in the community.
