DJ CAM - LIVE IN AUSTIN

Legendary producer DJ CAM performs live in Austin Texas 11/4/11 @ Emo’s. Cam was a very influential part of my early ventures into HipHop music. His double LP “Mad Blunted Jazz“ was the hottest tape to have in my neighborhood. With it’s dark moody beats and spaced out drums in combination with obscure vocal samples it was the perfect album to have on repeat. With limited distribution the album became a cult classic and the sign of a top notch record collection. Even with a series of quality productions over the years Cam had really never toured the United States, but upon release of his new album “Seven“ Cam has launched a US tour.
