from merced this band were ex-morlochs/ex-crystal syphon and formed when several members left that band in were : bob greenlee/john fox/tom salles/gabe romo & lucille released just one single ’old styx river/there is light there’ on the ’pan label’ track featured was an old ’crystal syphon’ song re-worked for the stuff with it’s very psychedelic feel and floating vocals & with the guitar work of tom salles it reminds me of early ’serpent power’...fox left after the singles release and replaced by jimmy shaw and when drummer gabe romo left as well guitarist jeff sanders took over the drum band live played mostly cover songs and finally called it quits in ’ ’tear and a smile’ band listed just below the ’boogeyman’ logo is another merced band recently renamed from ’crazy horse’...
