Siouxsie and the Banshees - Spellbound (bass cover)

The opening song from the JuJu album. I’ve filtered out all the low frequencies from the original recording and played my bass over it. This time I’ve spent quite some time on the bass tone and applied some compression, chorus and lots of EQ in order to match the sound of Steven Severin. I played it by ear so it’s very well possible that Severin played some notes at different positions. All recording, post processing and mixing done in Cool Edit Pro.
