Payday 2 - PSA: The Shields of Washington DC

Once, vast herds of Shields roamed the urban prairie of Washington DC, grazing peacefully on a concrete horizon. There’s one topic I didn’t have the time to include, namely melee. With aced Iron Man from the Enforcer tree you can melee shields to hit them out of balance and then finish them off with normal guns. Also, FBI shields will knife you if you get too close to them. It’s a bit risky but you can lure them into melee’ing you, retreat a bit, and then shoot them when they’re open. Other, non-melee methods are generally faster and more reliable though. Hopping on top of a Shield and then finishing them off from above/behind is also not a reliable way of killing them, but it looks awesome. More often than not you actually don’t end up jumping over them but just against them. Circling around is more effective. Credits for Mods and Music: - GoonMod, for the Spartan Army mutator.
