Educating doctors on the benefits of Clozapine for treating treatment resistant schizophrenia

Clozapine is the most effective medication known for treatment resistant schizophrenia, but it’s under prescribed. The Maryland Psychiatric Research Center is working to change that by reaching out to health care providers through a telementoring program. In this video, Dr. Deanna Kelly explains how the Echo Project will educate doctors about the benefits of Clozapine and how to address side effects and patient monitoring.
