Isaiah 55 - Is Anyone Thirsty || Bible in Song || Project of Love

Junkfood. The name says it all. Like fast food. It’s food for when you’re in a hurry, wanna eat something easy and fast. But we KNOW it’s not healthy food. Matter of fact, it leaves you hungry, bloated and unfulfilled. This Isaiah foreshadows the words of Jesus: “Anyone who is thirsty may come to me!“ (John 7:37 NLT) And best of all, it’s completely free! (“Why pay for food that does you no good?“ Isa 55:2 NLT) And better still, it’s the finest food and drink you’ll ever encounter! Isn’t it ironic, that we KNOW what’s good for us, still so often we settle for less, with inferior food and drink. Leaving us wanting more. But note what it says: “Hungry“ (..), Thirsty“. This is not talking about feeling a bit peckish, a quick snack or anything like that. But about wandering through the wilderness, through the desert and all you can think about is a tall glass of cool water. T
