The Batman - Cello Medley (Something in the Way / The Batman / Catwoman)

Cello medley of music from Matt Reeves’ “The Batman,“ by Nirvana Michael Giacchino. This film has already been really influential for me, for its music but also its production design and cinematography, and how it uses all of these to create such a distinct atmosphere around the characters. I was so excited with each track that was released earlier this year, revealing a little more about this new take on Gotham. I arranged the Catwoman theme just shortly after it came out but haven’t had time to recording anything since then, and after a while I just decided to make it a medley and put the whole Catwoman theme in there anyway. To be honest I wasn’t sure how this was going to turn out since all of these themes are tricky to get the tone right, but I had a lot of fun putting this together! My girlfriend’s been taking harp lessons so we had this harp in our apartment, and I thought the sound just fit so well for the main theme.
