Renault Mégane R.S. Trophy sets a new Nürburgring record on Bridgestone Potenza (Full version)

Renault Sport has chosen the UHP Bridgestone Potenza RE050A tyre as original equipment for the limited edition Mégane R.S. Trophy. On 17th June 2011, on the legendary Nürburgring circuit, and more specifically on the Nordschleife, Renault Mégane R.S. Trophy set a new lap record of 8’08“ in the front-wheel drive category, beating the previous record of 8’17“set by the Mégane R26.R.
