Golden Egg Fried Rice : Super Easy, A Basmati and Turmeric Delight
There is a really delicious Chinese restaurant near my house. The fried rice at that restaurant used bean sprouts, and it was so delicious that I also tried making Korean-style egg fried rice with bean sprouts in it. Wow… this is really delicious!! My daughter says she can eat it every day… In fact, I made it every day for lunch for two weeks while preparing the recipe video, and she never gets tired of it and says it’s delicious. And rice with turmeric is said to be very good for dieting. The problem is the unique scent of turmeric... Fortunately, my family likes the taste of turmeric, so we always make turmeric rice these days. The yellow color is so pretty that even children like it.
When making fried rice, Korean rice is delicious, but Indian basmati rice or Thai jasmine rice are also really delicious. Actually, my daughter’s favorite dish is Indian Basmati Rice. If you get the chance, be sure to give it a try.

[ingredient]
200g Basmati rice
300ml Water
1/2 tsp (2g) Turmeric powder
200g Bean sprouts
100g chopped green onions (50g x2)
5 eggs
1/2 tsp salt (2g)
2 tsp soy sauce (10g)
2 tsp (8 ) chicken powder
Miwon 1/2 tsp (2g)
1 tsp (4g) black pepper
1 Tbsp (12g) sesame seeds
1 Tbsp (15g) sesame oil
[Pot rice recipe]
1. Lightly wash the rice one or two times, put it in a pot, and add 1.5 times the weight of the rice with water.
2. Turn the heat to medium-high, open the lid of the pot, and boil for about 5 minutes, stirring well to prevent the rice from sticking to the bottom.
3. When the water is absorbed into the rice and starts to thicken, cover it, reduce the heat to low, and boil for another 8 minutes.
4. After cooking for a total of 13 minutes, turn off the heat and let it steam for about 5 minutes with the lid closed.
[Egg fried rice recipe]
1. First fry the green onions in a well-heated pan.
2. Add the eggs, stir well and fry well until the moisture evaporates.
3. When frying the eggs, add a little salt.
4. Add bean sprouts, add soy sauce, and stir-fry them together.
5. Add rice, chicken bouillon (powder), Miwon (MSG), and pepper and stir-fry until the rice becomes soft.
6. After the rice is sufficiently stir-fried, add chopped green onions, sesame seeds, and sesame oil and lightly fry once more before finishing.
