Christian And The Hedgehog Boys (2020 Remaster)

“How do you go about remastering one of the Internet’s most infamous albums?” This is the question I asked myself after I remastered Christian Weston Chandler’s “So Need A Cute Girl” for the first time a while ago. I’ve been fascinated by Chris’s music ever since I first listened to it. I don’t really find it funny, just entranced by it. I wondered what it would be like if I remastered the album in higher quality. This was a challenge since the original master tapes were thought to be lost, the album was recorded in a room that didn’t even have the right equipment for recording, and I had to rely on old recordings of the album from youtube. It took awhile for everything to be fully realized due to all these setbacks, but it was just keeping me from remastering the album to a higher quality. Eventually I gained the courage to do it, and after a tedious process of noise reduction, bass and treble, vocal reduction, volume decreasing and increasing, and several retries, I had finally done it.
