Workin’ Out Barbie commercial (1997, English version, HQ)

Well... Movember is almost over and the Holiday season is about to kick off with December. That means lots of toys will be bought for the kiddies and lots of consumerism and commercialization of Christmas! And if you know X-Mas, you know that there’s gonna be the elusive Holiday Barbie doll! And speaking of Barbie, remember that Workin Out Barbie ad I downloaded from ? Well it just so happens that YouTuber CDCB2 recently uploaded a Nickleodeon commercial break from his tapes and it contains a higher quality English version of that same ad! Like with the Pizza Hut ad in Kahlil the Retro Guy’s Adult Swim commercial break video, I did ask premission to download the ad break and trim the specific ad from it and he said “sure“. Major thanks! I uploaded the French version of this ad way back in March of this year and despite being in 240p quality, the video managed to reach just over 1000 views. I mentioned in that video’s description that the CGI Barbie in the first seconds of the ad was probably created by a company called Windlight Studios. I know their name because of a video I watched on computer animation studios from the late 90’s and Windlight was one of the companies featured on it. They did animation work for Barbie’s commercials in the 90’s, all of which that i know of have had a CGI Barbie in them. I really don’t have much to say other than that. It’s the same ad as before, just in English and higer quality. Oh and there’s the end of a Post Honey Comb cereal commercial at the beginning, because that was the best RealTrimmer could do.
