Black people and conspiracy theories

A lot of research in the United Sates, including some by the United States Department of Justice, suggests that African-Americans are more prone to adopt conspiracy theories than either Asian-Americans or white people. Is this same syndrome observable in Britain? If so, might it explain the readiness to follow some of the more bizarre theories relating to black history in Britain?
