Iron Dome ’Helpless’ As Houthi Missile Reached Israel In 11 Mins; Angry Netanyahu Vows Retaliation

The Houthi rebels boasted about their missile attack on Israel in a televised speech. Houthi military spokesperson Yahya Saree said that the rebels fired a ballistic missile towards Israeli military targets in Tel Aviv. He added that the missile acquired hypersonic speeds while flying and crossed 2,040 Kms to reach Israel in 11 minutes. He added that the attack ’forced over 2 million Zionists to run for shelter.’ He said the projectile eluded the gauntlet of American and Israeli aerial defense systems, and caused “fear and panic” in Israel. He also threatened the Israelis to expect more attacks. PM Benjamin Netanyahu snapped back and vowed to make the Houthis pay a heavy price. Meanwhile, the IDF said it made several attempts to intercept the ballistic missile with long-range Arrow defence system and Iron Dome. But the missile disintegrated in the air, as per initial Israeli military probe.
