It is one of the most famous cello concertos of the 19th century. Camille Saint-Saëns’s Cello Concerto No. 1 in A Minor, Op. 33, is catchy and unforgettable. The Verbier Festival Chamber Orchestra and sought-after cellist Mischa Maisky perform under the direction of Hungarian conductor Gábor Takács-Nagy.
