Aproximate gauge with 4mm needles and #4 yarn 2in=13 rows/9st THESE SIZES ARE NOT EXACT THEY ARE APROXIMATE SINCE NOT ALL BABIES ARE THE SAME SIZE AND SINCE TENSION WILL VARY FROM ONE PERSON TO ANOTHER 6-9M use 3mm knitting needles with #4 yarn 9-12M use knitting needles with #4 yarn 12-18M I used 4mm knitting needles with #4 yarn 18-24M use knitting needles with #4 yarn 2-3yrs use 5mm knitting needles with #4 yarn **NOTE for the sleeves where I change to smaller needles go down 1/2 needle size from which ever needles you’re using above For this knit baby cardigan sweater I used 4mm needles for the whole sweater but switch to needles for the e
